Euryphaessa
Suspended high above the darkness, Euryphaessa is an academy and a sanctuary for those who wield the light. It is a city of strict hierarchy and deep-seated prejudice, particularly against the Entities and the shadows that lurk beneath. Here, students train to become soldiers, riding majestic beasts like the sapphire dragon, Heather, to protect the remnants of humanity.
The Shadows & Entities
When the shadow of the dead finds a home, they become Entities. Hunted and misunderstood by the light-wielders of Euryphaessa, these beings carry the lingering wills of the past. From the noble crimson soul of General Kojin to the malicious presence of the Headless Liar, the shadows are not inherently wicked—they are simply seeking a place to exist.
The Prophecy
For generations, the light and the shadow have been locked in a bitter stalemate. But a prophecy whispers of a Child of Darkness—an individual possessing a rare black soul and the unique ability to communicate with their own shadow. This child is destined to bridge the void, untangling the hatred of the past and finally uniting the light of Euryphaessa with the shadows of the earth.
